Our tutors are highly experienced and cater for individual learning needs, in a friendly and engaging environment. Yes, your training does not stop after completion of your course. Active Swim are a large swim school, partnered with Rickmansworth Swimming club and have the ability to aid your first steps in to your career as a swimming teacher, with ongoing support, encouragement and training. We may be able to offer further opportunities to help you to build the confidence needed to be a successful teacher.

The SEQ level 2 Teaching Swimming Course gives you the knowledge and independence to deliver safe, fun and engaging swimming lessons under the guidance of one of our highly experienced tutors. You need to be aged 16 years or over at the start of the course and able to swim comfortably. In order to attend a Level 2 course, you will need to hold a Swim England Level 1 Swimming Teacher Assistant or an Swim England Level 1 Award in Teaching Aquatics (or equivalent) certificated after 1994.

All Swim England qualifications remain valid with no expiry date however we do advise keeping yourself up to date with regular CPD’s.
