Welcome to Swim Education
Swim Education is a subsidiary arm of Active Swim. We specialise in the training and development of swimming teachers and lifeguards for the workplace and beyond. We are accredited by Swim England Qualifications (SEQ), the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) UK Qualifications, and the Safety Training Awards (STA) as an approved training centre to deliver the training and assessment of the qualifications.
We utilise professional quality resources. We have developed our own swimming teaching training manual (revised in 2025) to ensure that we are leading from the forefront with the best research-informed practices from education, sports coaching, and swimming-specific technical knowledge. Our Director of Education and Development is involved in working at national and international levels within the field of swimming and teacher/coach development.

Our teacher training courses will provide you with the relevant technical content and improve the 'how-to' skills needed to be more successful as teachers.
